About UsJames was raised in the small fishing town of Oban on the West Coast of Scotland, he studied Piano under Geoffrey Heald Smith - ex head of the Royal Associated Board of Music and played in numerous bands before deciding to take a creative leap by going solo and concentrating on composition.After studying ‘Popular Music’ at North Glasgow College under (now) Education mogul Allan Dumbreck, James moved to London and studied on the prestigious BA Hons Commercial Music degree at the University Of Westminster. It was here where he could at last, immerse himself in a multitude of projects and more often than not, be found in the Film & Television Departments. After graduating from Westminster he began employment there as an engineer in the Music department then left after a year to begin a three year stint as an Audio Editor at Todd AO Post Production working on 90% of the UK’s Drama output, still finding time to compose for Channel 4, BBC, and a host of other clients. James founded and runs Musicworks Studio. Composes for film & TV, and lectures on the MA Audio Production Course at Westminster and the BA Hons Commercial Music degree at the University of Paisley. Keith has a vegetarian girlfriend but he himself enjoys meat. He graduated with a BA hons. in Commercial Music from the University of Paisley in June 2005. He also has a diploma in Audio Engineering from SAE Glasgow. Keith will always drink more coffee than you in the studio and is happy to chat all day about anything (even music sometimes). Clients
